This is my pre-trip for my first solo trip!

A dear friend lives in Orlando, near downtown Orlando. She will be married on Sunday, September 1. Unfortunately, my DH is unable to attend due to work. The wedding and all the extra events are in downtown Orlando. I have been to WDW 15 times over the past 12 years or so, but never ventured into Downtown Orlando. I decided that since I will be in the Orlando area, I would enjoy the wedding and then have a few solo days at WDW since I still had a few DVC points available, plus an annual pass. I originally could only get a studio at OKW with my points, but waitlisted a studio at AKL, which came through a month out. My next wait list was for BWV, which came through 3 weeks out. Yay!!! I had planned to spend the majority of my solo time at EPCOT, so this worked out amazingly!

My itinerary is as follows:
Saturday, 8/31
Arrive at MCO at 8:22pm and pick up the rental car
Check into Embassy Suites - Downtown Orlando

Sunday, 9/1
Attend the wedding :bride: and the after party :cheer2:
spend the night at Embassy Suites - Downtown Orlando

Monday 9/2
Leave Downtown Orlando and head to the magic!
Check into BWV
EPCOT
Lunch @ Chefs de France
maybe some pool time in between
Dinner @ Tokyo Dining

Tuesday 9/3
Morning at AK - ride Expedition Everest numerous times in the single rider line
Lunch @ Saana
Afternoon at EPCOT
Dinner at Via Napoli

Wednesday 9/4
day is open....EPCOT, DHS????
Late lunch at Le Cellier, 2pm (may change this, as I might not want such a heavy lunch before flying)
Head to the airport around 6/6:30
8:20 flight departs to ACY

Can't wait to report on it all in detail!

Looking forward to this, hope your trip comes round quickly and you have a great time :)

Thanks for reading! Two weeks from today I will be solo in WDW.

I am already changing my departure day plans. I had made a late lunch ADR at Le Cellier, but was thinking that a big steak meal would be too much before flying. I haven't canceled it yet, but I am considering it. I did add breakfast at Captain's Grill over at YC. The breakfast menu looks amazing! I think I will pack up, check out, and then have a good breakfast. I will most likely cancel Le Cellier, and then do a CS mid afternoon at Epcot or DHS, or where ever I end up!

I'm loving the flexibility I have being solo.
