Just wondering about Wednesday before through Labor Day how the crowds may be?? This will be our DD's 7th birthday and given the option of going in May vs her birthday, well, you know what she picked. Sorry, the search was disabled so I did try that!!! We know that it will be more crowds @ Labor Day vs May. Just wondering if anyone could please share their experience(s) with us. TIA

We manage to go over labor day every Sept. and except for the labor day weekend, the crowds are low.

As far as holiday weekends are concerned, Labor Day weekend is one of the slowest. Most school systems are open by then so there are not a lot of school age children, except for locals. There is a much better chance for thunderstorms, or hurricanes, in Sept. than there is in May. But, I'd still go with early September.
Have a great time!

This used to be one our favorite times of the year to visit. Now that our schools (hubby is a teacher and our youngest is still in HS) start before Labor Day we cannot go during this time. As others have said it really is not crowded. The only tip I would give you is that we found Saturday of Labor Day week-end to be the most crowded day. We would avoid the MK and go to Epcot and it was great. Also I would avoid DD that night. Lots of locals go during this time. I am sure you will have a wonderful time.

Have a great vacation!!!

I guess I just assumed it would be mobbed but after reading your wonderful posts I see that it can be managable. You guys are the greatest and I really appreciate your time and responses. I'll take note of the increase chances for rain, thunderstorms, and hurricaines-we'll take the rain gear and go with a flexible adgenda. The highlight will hopefully be breakfast with the princesses in the castle on her birthday....wish me luck!!!

Thanks again for all your input!!!!

Hurricane season is from June - Nov. We always go at the same time each year and only ran into one hurricane problem and that was with Floyd and, in reality, CT got hit harder than Disney, which was hit only with rain and wind.
Plan and enjoy, it is a wonderful time to go. It is, however, still hot and humid, but, I love that, so, for me it is perfect.
