Labor Day Airfare Sale?

Anyone know if there will be one and when it might start? After Labor Day? Checked fares today and they haven't moved . At least they didn't go higher! Was waiting for this weekend to buy tickets for in-laws from Houston.

11/27/01 - 12/5 or 12/6/01 from Houston.

The lowest right now is $206.50 from northworst. Waiting to see if prices on non-stop on Continental will come down. Wanted to buy when Delta had sales for $89 rd trip but in-laws hadn't made up their minds yet!

Won't see those prices again. But if they're going to pay $200+, might as well be non-stop. Thought I'd wait 'til Labor Day to see if there were sales before buying but pickings seem slim right now.

Do you know if Continental might have a sale? Tough 'cause they're the only non-stop so they don't have to lower their fares for that route. Sigh, Continental was only $158 - 189 non-stop a month ago - but in-laws still had not made up their minds! They snooze, they lose...
