We are considering going to La Nouba in October with our 11 year old son. Do you think it's something a kid would enjoy? How long is the performance, would you just stay in Downtown Disney for the rest of the evening or go to a park?

Been quite a while since we went but it is a great show. lots of kids go, and it is a show everyone enjoys.

How do you get tickets for this? Can you do it on the MDE website? Does anyone know about how much they are?

The best way is to buy them directly. If you sign up for their e-mail list (Crique Club), you can usually get a discount. The prices depend on the location but there are no bad seats and if you are too close it's difficult to see everything anyway. I think the front of Cat 2 in the middle is the best bang for the buck, but Cat 3 as close to the middle as you can get is fine too.

We took DS when he was 6. He loved it. It's geared more for kids than other Cirque shows. It's just about the right length of time, and there's new, more modern tricks, like skateboarding or BMX, in addition to the traditional Cirque du Soleil routines. DH and I really liked it too, and we have seen other Cirque shows before. It was pouring rain, so we just ate in DTD, went to La Nouba, and then got a cab back to the hotel. Plus, I think we were doing an AM EMH the next morning. However, there's a ton of stuff to see in DTD, so I would hang out there afterwards, maybe even before.

Thanks for the replies and the link, I am really excited about this show, when we were there before it was shut down for some reason.

I agree that it was a great show! Perfect for kids, and adults the same. We were in Cat 3 (just got back from my oldest DD's school music trip). Not really a bad seat in the house, as the theater is round, and you really can see just about everything from any seat there. Enjoy!

Do they allow patrons to use selfie sticks during the performances?

No photography of any kind during the show.

We have seen la nouba twice and love it, the last time was less than a month ago. The show last 90 min no intermission. My 12 year old brother liked it and my 11 year old cousin really liked it but felt sleep she was tired (we saw the late show) and was getting sick.

We saw it when DS was 9. We loved it. We went on arrival day so ate dinner at DTD and wondered around then headed back to hotel.
