Yay! Just got an 8:30 reservation for the last night of our trip. I guess we'll end it with Illuminations.

I thought Illuminations was 9:00pm

It normally is, but beginning 11/26, Candlelight Processional begins and in order to fit in 3 shows, they moved illuminations back a half hour to 9:30.

Just made my ADR for Oct 25th at 7:45. IS that too early a seating to see Illuminations? Anyone have an opinion on the time? I just thought we could eat and see Illuminations when we were eating desert. BUT I too will cancel if they do not accept DDP.

I changed my ADR to 8pm. Illuminations is at 9pm that night. I think that should work out.

Just made an ADR online for Dec. 29 at 8:15pm. Like everyone else, hoping that works for watching Illuminations from there. The menu looks good! Can't wait to start seeing food porn pictures of this place!

I'd like to watch Illuminations from there and I could have made reservations at time to do so, but my youngest is terrified of fireworks so I went ahead and made early reservations to avoid some sort of blow-up.

So, why are there going to be two Mexican restaurants? What will they offer different from each other? If one is better than the other won't that just hurt the business of the lesser? I enjoy San Angel and now feel like I am cheating on her.

I just made ADRs for Nov 199th at 8:15 in hopes of watching Illuminations, too. Does anyone know if the music will be piped in there?

I notice openings for supper but nothing at lunchtime & I wanted lunch OOP as my suppertime slots are all taken.

It appears they will open at 4pm daily.

Eeek, now I need to rethink mine. DH loves mexican food so I was ecstatic to get an 8pm ADR for our trip (when Illuminations is at 9pm) but DD will be 19 months old and last year we had headphones on her and she slept through them. I wonder if I should cancel???? hmmmm *pondering*

Off topic, but this was during the Wishes Dessert Party Fireworks (in MK) last year... The headphones worked then... not sure at this age though?

Too cute! I'd just bring the headphones again. What I'd say is book it for later in your trip and feel out how she does w/ fireworks a few days beforehand. If she does well, keep your adr, if she doesn't, cancel it as soon as you can and then you'll free up some pixie dust for someone trying to get a last-min adr

That will work perfectly since the first day they accept ressies is at the end of our trip. I can see how she does with the headphones this trip. Thanks for the idea! I'm actually thinking depending on the set up of the restaurant she may fall asleep at that hour. Last trip, a few places allowed us to keep her in her stroller when she was asleep and just made space for the stroller. Those were the most wonderful dining experiences, lol

According to the "disney blog" on twitter they will pipe in music. There is also pictures of the dining room.
