I thought I read that La Hacienda would be a 1TS restaurant. It's now opened up for ADRs but is showing not on DDP. Anyone know for sure?

Edit here's the link

Are La Cantina and La Hacienda on the Disney Dining Plan?
Yes, for 1 point, except for the larger entrées that are for 2 guests, they are 2 points.

I cannot imagine they would not be. Just guessing that maybe whatever contract they have to have between themselves has not been signed, sealed and delivered yet. :confused3

On the WDW website, on dining reservations for that restaurant it does say - "Dining Plan Not Accepted." I thought it would be also so maybe they're just getting everything straightened out. Maybe call Disney Dining and talk to someone?

Disney Dining may not know, so don't expect them to. They may just be looking stuff up on the same website you just looked on - the one that said "dining plan not accepted."

The site could definitely be wrong. If you want to eat there, make a reservation, then keep an eye out for reports from those who actually dine there. You can cancel the reservation if it turns out they're not taking DDP.

Did anyone notice that Hacienda is listed as not taking the Dining Plan? Is this common for new restaurants? Do you think it will change in the next few weeks?

hahaha I was wondering the same thing.... I just check the online reservation system, and I saw they didn't accept the DDP and i'm like... "let me go to the DIS and find out" :rotfl:

Let's hope they will change it...They have until November to do it ;)

That is what the reservation system is now saying. It could certainly be incorrect, especially since there is other information indicating that Hacienda will be taking DDP. No need to panic yet.

Disney's website getting something wrong? :p

Until proven otherwise by the people dining there (or the CMs actually working there), I wouldn't worry about it. It's been said that it would be on the DDP and all logic suggests that there is no reason that it wouldn't be.

Phone CMs are notorious for not having the proper information and thus guessing and presenting it as fact (yes, Disney, I'd rather have a CM tell someone "I don't know the answer" than guess and get it wrong!). They are probably seeing the same thing that we are (though via their own portal) and just assuming it is correct.

confused!:confused3

La Hacienda de San Angel

Old World hospitality abounds at La Hacienda de San Angel. Indulge in the smoky flavors of southern Mexico while fireworks burst above World Showcase Lagoon.

Location: Epcot
Price: $$ ($15 to $35.99 per person)*
Cuisine: Mexican
Dinner: 4:00PM- 9:00PM (does not include Characters)
Dine Plan: Dining Plan not accepted

That will most likely change. I remember this happening with several new restaurants in the past.
