La Hacienda - credit card for ressie?

I just noticed that when I read over the "policies" quickly when making an online ressie for La Hacienda it mentioned that a credit card was needed to "secure the reservation". However, it did not ask for credit card info like I seem to remember I did when making my Cindy's castle ressie. Is this just fine print that I did not notice before with my other ressies?

No credit card hold. I made a reservation for 10 last week and was not asked to give a credit card number.

That caution appears on most if not all of the online reservations, and it actually applies only to a few restaurants (CRT, dinner shows, Akershus, California Grill. In addition, to Victoria & Albert's and Fantasmic or Candlelight Processional dinner packages, but you can't book those online.)

Well, I try to be good about cancelling ressies if needed, I want to make sure that if I forget and can't make it, I don't get charged. They do have my info for Cindy's table so I was not sure if the info is stored or something...

This is what it says: "A credit card is required to guarantee this meal; the full price of ordered meals will be charged if you cancel within one day of the reservation or are a "no show" for the reservation. At family-style or buffet locations, you will only receive one meal; does not include all-you-care-to-eat. You will be charged the regular buffet or all-you-care-to-eat price."

You paid in full for Cinderella's. If you miss that reservation without cancelling, you will lose what you paid.

You didn't give anything for La Hacienda so if you don't show up there will not be a penalty.

The quote you just gave refers to special-order dietary restrictions like kosher meals.
