Kurt Warner retires

I totally agree! We missed him very much when he left St. Louis. He's a very class-act guy (very rare in the NFL today).

I met him at ESPN the Weekend last year! What a great guy!

Kurt really is a true class act. I remember a story he told at ESPN the weekend. When he goes out to dinner with his family, he wants to let his kids know that they are truly lucky to have the life they have; but to always remember to reach out to others. So he lets his kids pick out another family, or just a nice couple in the restaurant; and Kurt pays for their meal. A small gesture; but it truly speaks volumes.

He truly is a class act. My younger brother and husband met him when he was playing for the St Louis Rams. He took time and talked to my brother and asked him questions. My brother was 8 at the time. We were at the Muny which is an outdoor ampitheater where they put on plays in the summer in St Louis.

Good decision even though his talents are still extraordinary. Saw him as the human punching bag when he played for the Giants and was happy to see him reclaim his true status as an elite QB after he left.

I hope he makes it into the hall brcause not only has he been a great football player he is a even better person.
