So has anyone attempted to ask any of the bartenders if there is a bar on property with the ingredients and knowledge for making a Kungaloosh? I doubt I could live the rest of my life without one of these babies ever again. :( I was thinking of asking when I order my Lapu Lapu extravaganza next weekend but figured I'd ask here first! :)

I hear if you go back to PI and try the outdoor bar in front of what used to be CW (the bar still exists) there may be a bartender there that can provide you with one.

But any bartender onsite who has the proper ingredients and a blender should be able to make one. There's a list of ingredients here somewhere. I don't have a list myself.

Thanks for your quick response! So my best bet would be to make a note of the ingredients in my cellphone or something and see if someone will make it for me, if they can't do it in PI. I'm kind of leary about going back to that area just because I want to keep my last memories of the Island as that wonderful last evening of operation. :(

Kungaloosh Recipe

1 cup Daily's Strawberry Daiquiri Mix
1/4 cup orange juice
1/4 cup Captain Morgan's Spiced Rum
1/4 cup blackberry brandy

Toss it in a blender with enough ice to make it slushy. Add whipped cream and a cherry.

Drink - Repeat

KUNGALOOSH!

:goodvibes Thank you so much for posting the recipe!

Laffers Cantina, outside the former Comedy Warehouse, offers "real" Kungalooshes from time to time, straight out of the machine from the Club. Not every night, tho--rumor has it the next batch will be November 8 (a Saturday).

Even on other nights, it tends to be staffed with former AdvClub bartenders, who can at least mix up a non-frozen version.

wow that is good to know!

An update for anyone interested. I was eating sushi at the kona sushi bar and asked the waiter if he could see if the bartender at Tambu could make me a Kungaloosh. I was so excited when the delicious pink concoction was plopped in front of me, with a strawberry and lemon attached. Woohoo, success!!
