Our home in Slidell, LA was severly damaged by Hurricane Katrina. We were scheduled to be at FW in mid-October but had to change our plans. WDW refunded the entire amount of the reservations with no service charge. We have now planned our trip in February. Thanks to WDW for understanding our situation.

That's great!

I talked to people this weekend at Disney that stayed their during the hurricane's that hit FL last year. They said the staff was wonderful to them and made special arrangements with people that were supposed to be on the way.

That is good to hear. Living in hurricane alley ourselves (south Alabama), we have those fears when making vacation plans.

Sorry to hear about the damage to your home. Hope all goes well for you in your efforts to get things back to normal. We had a huge pine tree fall on our house, busting through the roof, etc.. Compliments of Katrina. Repairs are underway, and hopefully will be complete soon. Man, am I ready for hurricane season to GO AWAY !!! :wave2:
