Kudos to Lost and Found and Mousekeeping

We were at ASMo two weeks ago and after we had unpacked all of our suitcases, we realised that we had left her new Kanga with Roo in the pouch stuffed animal in our room. We must have buried it in the covers when we checked under the bed.

I called the resort that evening and left a message with Lost and Found. I didn't get a response so I called back the next morning and spoke with a person who confirmed that my info was in the system. She knew my room number and check-out date and said they didn't have the item, but that many times things get wrapped up in bedding and the housekeeping people eventually find them. If the item was found, they would send it to me and she confirmed my address.

I wasn't hopeful and already arranged for my mom to pick up another one on our trip in April. But today, the doorbell rang and I got a box from WDW with Kanga in it. My daughter is napping but when she gets up, she's going to be thrilled.

Just wanted to post this in case anyone gets home and finds out they left something behind. It can't hurt to check with lost and found.

That's great news. We found out two years ago when we unpacked that our DS left his embroidered Mickey Ears in the gift shop at WL. It was the last place we were before driving home. So we called the resorts lost and found, and sure enough they had 'em.
