Kudos to HOJOs!

We stayed at HOJOs last week while we were in DL and had a wonderful stay. The room was spacious and we had a wonderful view of the Matterhorn every morning and a spectacular view of the very late Miley Cyrus Birthday Party Fireworks on Sunday night.

Anyway, my DD borrowed a book from her teacher to read during fall break. When we got home, she didn't have the book. I emailed Lorealle at HOJOs and she told me that housekeeping would keep an eye out for it. Today I got an email from housekeeping that they had found the book and that they were going to mail it back to me.

I just wanted to say Thank You to everybody at HOJOs for going above and beyond. We will definitely be visiting again in the future. :thumbsup2
 
It is posts like this that make me look so forward to our upcoming stay in March. I have yet to read a bad review of Hojo hospitality.
So glad that your daughter will be able to return the book

I love HoJo's, we had a similar experience with my DD's blanket. At HoJo's we realized right after checkout that we didn't have it. They gave me a key and she and I ran up to see if it was there, they had already cleaned the room so the blanket was gone. I called the front desk, they sent the housekeeping manager to our room and she helped us find the blanket! Amazing service!!

At some other hotel we left the blanket as well, we had actually checked out of that hotel and into the HoJo (different trip) and DD had left her blanket behind. I called them and let them know, they were so unhelpful!! I was so upset with them, they could clearly how upset DD was, she was crying right behind me. They said I could fill out a claim form and if they found it they would mail it to us, I told them that was unacceptable and finally had to go back to the hotel (wasting park time, DBF went ahead and took the girls to the parks while I went back to the hotel) and spoke to the manager who couldn't understand why I had to talk to him......he walked into housekeeping, grabbed the blanket and walked right back out. It was sitting there waiting for us. They had washed it, which was nice but man, the stress of that ordeal made us double and triple check every time we stayed anywhere other than the HoJo. We felt confident that the HoJo would make sure we got our blanket back. :)

We loved HoJo as well. Just got back from our 4 night stay there, 12th-16th. When I called to confirm our reservations the week before, Jennifer was a little chagrined that they had blocked out the rooms and had not given us the 7th floor room we requested. We had booked back in May, and they usually give preference to earlier booking requests. So she worked and finagled and got things switched around to get us the perfect room, 1713. Top floor building one, balcony, perfect view of the Matterhorn without too many blocking tree branches! The day of check in, they also very kindly took delivery of our groceries (we had already gone to the parks, because our room wasn't ready yet) and took them up and put them in our room, so the refrigerated stuff would stay cold. That was above and beyond!

The day before we left, I stopped by the office and asked to see if Lorealle was there. She remembered me from my e-mails and asked if we'd gotten the room we wanted. She was so nice and helpful! It was great to meet her!

Ho Jo's was a great hotel for us. DS loved castaway cove...and found just the right spot to put stand so he didnt get splashed more than he wanted too...lol

They were nice and very helpful when asked. Jade said they need a shuttle to run people to Disney though...but she was tired that day. lol
 
OT I know - but Capt. Bane where was that spot? DS is excited about the Cove, but I know he would love to have a spot where he didn't get quite as wet!
