question....im on the ddp but my question is can i put tips on the key to the world card? also does stuff that u put on the key to the world card get charged to your credit card on file every day or is it on the end of the trip...

Tips can be charged to your room and I believe your running account is charged daily--I seem to remember that's what happened

The charges are posted daily to your account, then when it reaches the limit ($500 Value Resort, $1,000 Mod, or $1500 Deluxe) it is charged to the credit card. Then it starts all over again. I don't know if they inform you that you've reached the limit and that it's been charged to your card company.

so if i only charge 400 on the card it wouldnt be charged to my credit card till the end of the trip....i have everything paid for already hotel , tickets and dining plan...so im not planning to spend much on other stuff...but i want to be able to pay in cash before they charge my card...

Are you staying at a value? Then yes, if you only charge $400 it would not be charged until the end of your trip.
BUT, and this is a big BUT in your case, the charge is run over night the night before you leave. So if you want to pay off the charges with cash before they charge your card, you need to do it the day before checkout. If you you wait until the morning you checkout, it is too late, they have already charged your card.

When we went in 2009, we went to the front desk the night before and settled our bill to pay in cash. It was really easy.

I didn't realize there was a $500 spending limit in a value resort, well I mean until they charge your card. Hmmm.......this might make me rethink which card I link up to the room. I had intended on using my rewards card but Chase gave me the crappiest credit limit ever (for no reason!) and sometimes I have to make random payments to avoid going over that limit. I was assuming they'd not charge my card until checkout with my plan to make a payment the day before.

While this is true, beware that there is a time gap in there when you will not be able to charge to your KTTW card because you have hit the limit but they have not yet cleared the charges. This happened to us last year and was mildly embarrassing, although I at least had other methods of payment with me at the time.

Yes, if you don't pay for that in advance, I really have no idea how the BBB works but if you pay for it at the appointment then you can use your KTTW card.

OK, here is how it works.
. . . you place a credit card on file for room key charges
. . . key limits are $500-Values, $1,000-Mods, $1,500-Deluxe/DVC
. . . you charge purchases, tips, etc to the key
. . . the charges accumulate to the limit
. . . when the limit is reached, charging is suspended
. . . you call or visit Front Desk, and the credit card is charged *
. . . this clears the room key balance
. . . THIS IS NOT DONE AUTOMATICALLY
. . . your charging limit is re-established for room key

* You might be in the park when this happens. Just ask the cashier
to call the resort, and you can ask the credit card to be credited.
