I am ready to scrapbook my kttk tour from May. I am having trouble remembering all the fun facts I wanted to journal. I realize all tours are different but Please Help and feel free to include facts from your tour. We were backstage twice and went on Jungle Cruise and Haunted Mansion Ride.
SPOILERS LISTED BELOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Partner Statue and Roy/Minnie Statue: Mrs. Disney only agreed to the statues as long it was not Walt alone. They went through the Disney archives and found reference to Mickey's height. The two statues were designed to go together. Walt's "story" is that he is telling Mickey his life's journey is over and Mickey cannot go with him. Walt is pointing to the seat Minnie is saving for him with Roy.

Walt is the only person that has two windows- One welcoming you to MK and the other saying goodbye as you leave.

The grounds change color or material everytime you go into a different land.

Jungle Cruise is the only waterway connected to natural flowing water source. It is only a few feet deep and is dyed so you cannot see the tracks guiding the boats. The tribesmen standing in the tall grass says "I love disco" (imagineer joke).

Haunted Mansion: Tombstone are like the windows honoring imagineers. The floating Leota ball image is high tech project from inside out. All other effects are low tech. Little Leota as you leave the HM is actual face of Leota Tombes who was a make up cast member and the test person for the creation. She did such a great job they did not try to recast the effect.

The are no restrooms in Liberty Square because there were none in that time period. Two guns in the top window of Columbia Harbor restaurant indicate it was a safe place where you would be defended from the British.

Backstage we saw Goofy tagg out. Cast members are only in costume about twenty minutes max. There is a yellow line that show where you can be seen from "Stage" in the parks. We saw the parade float hanger where repairs are made and spare parts for rides. We saw the garage disposal building. There are 13 collection stations and uses a vacuum suction system to remove trash from parks. This was near Splash Mt.

Went backstage to utilidore from the Emporium. Saw film on costume dept and laundry facility.
