I was the person scheduled for the fridge. I was very impressed with the way this situation was handled. I checked in on 7/21 and tried to locate the fridge. I then called the swapper before me who got back to me in a very prompt manner. By the end of the night, arrangements had been made and a fridge was delivered to me. Thanks so much. This gesture was very unexpected abut much appreciated. I kept checking back to see if our fridge was located because I didn't want the swapper after me to be without a fridge. Unfortunately, when I left on 7/27 the fridge was still missing.

It looks like the swap is able to continue and I'm very glad. I apologize to those who were inconvenienced by this and especially to those who will miss out on the fridge during their stay. If I'm lucky enough to be able to be a part of a fridge swap in the future........I will have learned from my mistakes. I hope everyone enjoys their upcoming trips.

Yes, even though the fridge was lost it was handled VERY well by all parties involved. And than you, MouseloverJD for checking on the fridge daily. Too bad it wasn't located-but at least we're back on track now.

So check this thread again a few times today to see if you're in. My next swapper is leaving tomorrow so if you get in I'll need your confirmation info ASAP.

Just checking in to see if we have a fridge yet to replace the one that was lost? Shall I still bring a container of wipes to clean the fridge and packing tape and wrapping paper to clearly identify the box the fridge is in and make it stronger.

I will still be bring a coffee maker with me that I will leave inside the fridge along with extra filters and any Tim Hortons coffee that isn't used (each in serving is in a sealed package).

In only 18 more days we will be back in Disney World.

Yes, our new fridge arrived today thanks to stampwithamy! I think the 2 swappers before you are bringing all the supplies, but you may want to check with them to be certain.

Woo - Hoo! That would be meeeeee!! I heard from the swapper after me. I am going to be leaving it in LS for him as he doesn't arrive until the early evening. I've got stickers and goodies to fix it up! Also, my mom will be donating a coffeemaker but I don't know what kind. Will send photos to Krystal when we get finished decorating!! You may want to check with the person before you. I **think** they are bringing a coffee pot to donate.

I will still bring the coffee pot that I have packed with me. If it turns out the one is already in the fridge I will leave the better of the two with the fridge and give the other one to another person at the Pop Century. Anybody who drinks coffee would like their own coffee pot at Disney World as the coffee at the Pop Century is about the worst I have ever tasted.
