Just checking in to see if everything is running smoothly again with our swap?

I never did hear from the person who I left the fridge for on Friday May 2, 2008.
It was left in luggage services for him with a 8 1/2 x 11 lable with his name and reservation number on it, and the box was reenfoced with an entire roll of packing tape.
I hope that it is still going as I might be getting another trip lined up soon and would like to use the fridge again if it is not already spoken for.

Thanks Douglas for keeping everything going. I haven't heard anything so I assume all is going fine.

I do have a question - do we have the same outside box? Decorated like in the picture I sent you in your information email? With Krystals name on it and on the fridge itself? I just want to be sure we have the same fridge because I am still sending out the picture of the decorated box.

The fridge is in the same box with the wrapping paper on it.

I just used a roll of packing tape and went around the entire box twice to add some strength to the box.

I left the side with Krystals info untouched and put a new clear 8 1/2 x 11 paper sleave on the other side so that people could label the fridge for the next person.

I put the coffee maker, filters and the Tim Hortons Coffee inside the fride so it is just one box.

Hi all,

Our July person had to cancel, so now there is a large gap in July that needs to be filled. I believe POP only holds things for 2 weeks, and this gap is longer than that. We need this gap filled to continue the swap.

Anyone out there need a fridge at POP in July?????

I'll go write a separate thread to hopefully draw interest, but feel free to bump this here and there to keep it visible.

hello fellow swapers -

I have good news and bad news....first the good!

My son has been accepted into the Disney College Program for the Fall Semester! WOO-HOO!

BUT, that means that we have to change our vacation dates to coinside with his move-in date. So, I will have to cancel our dates with this fridge swap! That means that August 16-23 is now open. I'm very sorry!

Hi all,

This is directed at all swappers that come after July. We have a large gap in July and I believe that POP will only hold items for 14 days. If we cannot get part of that gap filled, POP may not hold our items and the swap would end. PLEASE, do what you can to find someone to use our fridge or at least babysit it for a day or two and then return it to POP, so our 14 day period will start over. I don't have a trip lined up anytime soon, so I haven't been reading the threads. If you see anyone with a trip in July, see if you can get them to use or babysit our fridge. I have posted a separate thread to fill the gap but haven't had any takers yet. If you don't want the swap to end, please help! Thanks.

I am already part of a fridge swap but would be willing to take a 2nd one. Mellgonzales is also the person I have to hand off to in the other swap. I feel selfish, but would be willing to help out.

I don't think it is selfish ... if not one else wants the fridge it is great that you are willing to 'babysit' it!
