Just got back yesterday & used the fridge.

If the swappers can do a hand to hand exchange from the previous swappers room, I would recommend it. When we received the fridge boxed up in luggage services (no complaints , just some handy advice), it took it a good 2 days to even begin cooling our drinks. When we handed off to the next swapper I had her come to our room & left it plugged in until she got there. I'm hoping that helped her by already having it cold & running.

Hopefully she'll let us know how it did when she gets back. It didn't seem like anything was wrong with it, just that it takes a while to start the cooling process.

Anyway, thanks again for letting us be a part of this swap!!!

Thanks for the update! Did adjusting the temp dial on the fridge seem to help cool it at all? 2 days seems like a long time to get things cool . . . . .

we thought that was what was wrong, but it was adjusted to the coolest setting according to my refrigerator settings at home. If the highest number is the coolest, then that is what it is set on. Otherwise...my bad.

Hello swappers!

I coordinate a Pop Fridge Swap (#2) on the TourGuideMike forums. It seems that our fridge (and enclosed coffeepot, etc.) went missing in September and I'm trying to track it down. Meanwhile, Pop gave one of our swappers a fridge that doesn't belong to us. I have a feeling that they gave our fridge to another fridge swap group.

I have asked our swapper who is currently at Pop to take a picture of the fridge and box that she has in the hopes that we can find it's true owner. A picture of our fridge box is my avatar over there to the left. If anyone has seen the fridge, could you please, please contact me so that we can get our swap going again?
