I went shopping this week at Kroger and I always stop to make sure there hasn't been a coupon policy change, and here's what the woman at Customer Service said. You are now only allowed 5 of the same coupon. I asked what about if the coupon is good for several items, such as cereal where more than kind is offered, like with Post ( this was the example I used). She stated only 5 of the same. So I just wanted to be clear so I asked, So if I have 5 boxes of Healthy Grains and 5 boxes of a Post kids cereal, I can use 10 coupons, 5 on each type of product. She stated no only 5 total. So I said that's means that I have to split up my orders, she stated that is not allowed any more. Due to all this extreme couponing, it is causing the rule changes.
I asked for a copy of the policy she stated it is on line. But I could not find it? Any suggestions where to look.
So I thought to ask about the buy 10 items get 5 dollars off program. She gave me the list and said now you must buy in multiples of 10, not 10 of the same items any combination of 10 on the list. So I was like so if I have 15 items on the list she stated that I would only get the promotion on 10 of them. She stated again that because of the extreme couponing was forcing these changes.
So I had to stop and rethink my shopping, I'm glad that I was only picking up a few things.
I don't know if this was just in my store, or all over. Anyone else experienced this in their store.
