So I was in a meeting alllllll day long, and finally got a break at 3:00. I went outside and checked my phone and saw a missed call/voicemail from AA. My heart dropped. I didn't even want to check my voicemail. Anyways, I did. She was calling to tell me that they couldn't do a rush order on that dress since it wasn't the same as my old dress, and that this dress would come in the second or third week of August. YIKES! I called her back to talk to her about the timeline. She said as soon as the dress comes in, she would make sure I was the first alteration appointment that they had. Whew! She said she promised that it would be ready in time for the wedding. Talk about cutting it close! I'm going to be stressed until it's all ready. It's going to be a long couple of months!

Sooo, I'm thinking about going back to the original jewelry I had in mind. I only have a bracelet and earrings picked out, so I'll need a matching necklace. (Jen-you're in charge)

What do you guys think?

Of course I wouldn't order them until I knew what necklace I was getting. Have to make sure it all matches!
I was actually thinking of waiting until my dress came in before getting any of this, but since it's going to be cutting it so close that may not be an option....

Also, I can't use my pretty headband I was planning to either. It won't match at all. I still plan on wearing my hair down and curly, but now I'm on the hunt for something else. If you guys have any suggestions, that would be awesome!

And shoes.... so sad about my converse. My dress is ivory and those shoes won't match either. That is not going to be fun to find. I don't want heels or ballet flats. I wan't something with a little color. I'm going to be hard to please with this. Shoe shopping isn't my favorite. (I know...weird) If anyone has any idea what I'm even talking about shoe-wise and knows of any sites I can check out, please share!! Please and Thank You!!!

I have been kind of indecisive about shoes myself... right now I have these strappy gold/silver metallic wedges that aren't too tall and not too flat. I like the difference in height between me and my man so I didn't want big heels!

I am kinda partial to the first option. With little studs in your ears of matching pearls. Could always message the designer and see if they could make custom ones for you? Haha. I like the necklace better and a simple bracelet that I could look for for you.

I was worried about those earrings with a necklace. But I'm wearing my hair down and I have long hair, so I'm afraid you won't be able to see small earrings? I could do pearl studs, for some reason pearls always stand out when I wear them. I like the way they look, especially with a little bling!!
I might look into seeing if there are sellers on etsy that would match it all for me

And I keep looking at those shoes, I really like them! I think I've found a store around here that sells them so I wanna go try them on! They don't sell the glitter ones, so I'd still have to order them, but I wanna see how they look/feel on my feet!

Kristi, I have so enjoyed reading about your plans. I love love LOVE the invites!!!! I was originally planning on a backyard wedding, but decided last week that I want a disney wedding and the swan seems to be the most reasonably priced, so I plan on being a swan bride too next June. I'm considering the beach for the ceremony since I will be having a "luau" reception a couple of weeks after we get married. Anyway, I have thoroughly enjoyed reading everything and I think your dress is fabulous. Can't wait to read more!
