Kristi and Brian's Wedding **New Plans!**

Awe Kristi! That is a bummer! I am so sorry to hear that! I just know you will find something amazing that you will love!!! Make a wish!!! Let us know where you decide!:goodvibes

Noooooooo! Such a bummer about Cali Grill!!! Who would have thought they would be booked so soon! There seem to be a lot of cool locations at WDW and I'm sure you'll find some place great. It will all come together, even if last resort you all go back to the hotel together and order room service. :lmao:

Thanks :goodvibes

Thank you!!! :goodvibes

Not much wedding planning has been going on lately, but I do get to make my ADR's tomorrow! Yay!! I'll post them tomorrow, I don't wanna jinx myself tonight and not get what I want...
And we have decided to do an at home reception the weekend we get back from Disney! We have a ton of friends of family that can't make it, so this will make it where everyone can be a part of it! Not that I didn't have enough things to plan, but now I'll be planning a little at home reception as well! It'll be fun! And of course it will be Disney themed :tink:

This is a great idea, and another reason to celebrate:thumbsup2 I don't know if you read lurkyloos Wedding TR, but I think she had her family host hers so that may be an idea if you want to take some of the stress of the planning off. I can't wait to read your reports of everything :) On another note I am so sorry about your ADR problem, definitely keep checking because you know all the trouble I had with mine  and I eventually got everything that I planned for so you just have to keep checking every once and a while something is bound to pop up! Here's some creepo to brighten your day: :wizard::dancer: oh and pixie dust your wish is my command :wizard:pixiedust:

Awww hun, I'm sorry it didn't work out for you!!!! You will find a great alternative!!! Keep smiling!! :goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes

Hey, sorry to hear about the CaliGrill! Can't believe they're booked already! I've heard great things about Narcooses, my friend was raving to me about it just the other day and I don't think she or her family are big seafood eaters. I'm sure everything will work out perfect for you :wizard:

Kristi, I'm looking at the menu and it won't be so bad! They have a filet, and lamb, and chicken! (And Almond Cheesecake, on that note!)

Thanks girls!
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Making ADR's has been the most frustrating thing for me. Everything I want is booked up around the times I want. I'm so aggravated. Who would have thought things would book up this early. In all of the Disney trips I've taken, I've NEVER had this much trouble with reservations. And it's in September, which is usually not as busy as other times. It's my wedding/honeymoon, this should be going right!
Ok, I'm done venting for now. Hopefully when Brian gets home he can call and work some magic.

When I was booking my ADRs 3 out of the ones I was trying to book were full and they eventually opened up. So don't loose hope. I think what ppl do is book multiple ones in the same time slot which you can do online and release them when their trip gets closer bc when I tried mine initially I was having problems but 3 months out everything opened up. I know things will work out. Oh and check out the cancelled ressie thread on the restaurant threads and you could get very lucky there as well.

Thanks girl! I wish they didn't allow the multiple bookings. It sure would make my life alot easier :)

Do you happen to have the link to this? I think I've read it, but can't really remember :)

I'm sorry you couldn't get Cali Grill, but I agree, keep trying!! I have heard awesome things about Narcoosee's though, and I am not a seafood eater either. What a bummer, I will cross my fingers for you!

Congrats on your ADRs! At least you got Le Cellier, I know that's a hard one. I admit, I'm really shocked that you're having trouble this early out. I booked my for Sept. 3rd and had no problems with anything that I wanted, and I think I probably could have gotten them for any times that I wanted too... but I think that everyone else is right, keep checking and something may open up! You can always make changes.

I think your ADRs look great! Is your trip during a free dining period? It could also be more crowded b/c of the start of the F&WF. I've found the most ADRs open up at the 45 day mark when people's final payments are due (or in this case, when they decide they can't make the final payment and cancel the ADRs). Seriously though, check every day if you have to (and are able to) because stuff almost always opens up!

Yay!!! What a fun list of yummy restaurants!!! Have you done Biergarten before? We went in February. DBF LOVED it I mean he LOVED it. I was not totally sold on it :lmao:but that may be bc I am such a picky eater...

It is during free dining. I was thinking that probably plays a big part in this. And people making multiple reservations at the same time...grrrr....
I'm definately going to keep checking!!

I haven't done Biergarten before, and honestly I don't really care about it. The food just doesn't sound that great to me, but df LOVES that kind of food. We are kind of on the fence about it. We wanted to make reservations in Epcot bc of EMH being until midnight that night, so we definately wanted to close there. I'm going to keep checking back, because I really wanted Rose and Crown around 8'ish.... we shall see!

Oohhh that all looks great! And Dining with an Imagineer sounds like SO MUCH FUN!!!!!!!!!! (oooh. Maybe we'll do that...)

As for Epcot--- I've never been to Biergarten either, not really my cup of tea, especially because you usually have to sit with strangers and DF and I are pretty awkward! :lmao: But have you tried Via Napoli yet? It's SURPRISINGLY good!!!

I know I haven't been around lately but I had to let you know how amazing your invitations are. They look awesome!!! Such a good job.

Everything sounds FABOOO dahling! :thumbsup2

I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for California Grill. Or I may just need to make a phone call myself.. :rolleyes1 They don't know who they're messing with!

I will DEFINITELY recommend Coral Reef for the night you're in Epcot. Dave and I went in December for our last dinner on our trip.. and I couldn't have made a better choice. The dinner was our best yet. The atmosphere is just awesome. The food was DELICIOUS and staff, phenomenal. I felt a little wrong eatting Nemo while watching Nemo? :confused3 But I got over it, lol. You won't have that problem cause you don't eat seafood so you're golden!

Kristi sweetie - Glad you got your ADRs sorted out!!! It is always a bit hassle and a worry!!! I am sure that Narcossees on your wedding day will be fabulous!!
I assume that most of the ADRs are just for you and DF (or as he will be, DH) because the 'Dining with an Imagineer' only takes a very small amount of guests at the same time, hang on though, if it is all booked, you already know this!!
DD and I did this at 'Artist's Point' at the WL a couple of years ago and it was one of the most amazing experiences that I have ever had!!! I couldn't tell you what the food was like - I was so engrossed in listening to and talking to this icredible man, Steve. I think we had the same imagineer as Carrie and Patrick had when they dined with an Imagineer fairly recently!!
You will really love it!!!

I'm glad to know you enjoyed Dining with an Imagineer! We are so excited about it!!! I wish we were as close as you to going!! It's almost time!! :yay:
And Artist's Point was a restaurant that we really wanted to try, but planning reservations outside of the parks was tough for us. We have alot of things going on inside of the parks (with MNSSHP and F&W) so we didn't want to plan to many dinners outside of them :)
But next trip AP is a must!!!
