I just read in one of our trade magazines here at work, that Wal-Mart will begin offering Krispy Kreme Doughnuts in units in North Carolina, Indiana and Virginia.
Two of the stores (one in Scottsburg, IN. and one in Virginia Beach, VA) will be doughnut and coffee shops and the others (in Seymour, IN; Mount Airy, NC; and Christiansburg, VA) will be so-called factory stores, where the doughnuts will be baked on the premises.
On a side note, Wal-Mart is also introducing H&R Block tax services, in as many as 857 Wal-Mart stores by next year's tax season.
So, maybe the saying should be changed to "The only thing certain is 'doughnuts' and taxes"!
