Krispy Kreme Donuts

If there was a microwave available, you could zap each one for 8 seconds...tastes like hot off the conveyor. *sigh* I may have to stop on my way out of town tomorrow and get some for the road to grandma's house!

YUM! Never thought of the microwave idea!!

I've had KK donuts before on land and also on the Magic in the summer of 2003. I LOVE:tongue: donuts:tongue: and the KK donuts I've had were really not all that special. But then again I've never had them hot off of the conveyor belt either. In the past year or so they put a KK outlet about 50 miles away. Prior to that it was a 200 mile drive (thats a litte to far out of my way:teeth: )

Hey Tere, if it makes you feel any better, they're not 300 calories each, they're only 220. (The glazed are, but I don't want to know how many are in the chocolate glazed...oooooooh..yummy!)

karebear1, KK are now available at local grocers and it had those microwave directions on the box! Just another sales tactic....THAT WORKS! DSConnor calls them sticky doughnuts. He has since he was little. He is my doughnut head. When we get them hot...or heated up...his eyes roll to the back of his head and his eyelids flutter! LOL You can tell he just REALLY enjoys them!

And if you aren't near a KK store, Quicktrip has them and I like QT's coffee too.

Krispy Kreme donuts are the best. You guys are making me hungry....::yes::

I happen to love KK, but here in NJ they are shipped in, unfortunately the shipped have preservatives and just don't taste the same. Fortunately we were visiting our daughter in Charlottesville, VA over the weekend and picked up a dozen right off the belt. Took them into work the next day without even tasting one the whole trip back. (will power) The dozen was long gone by lunchtime. We're on the Wonder in November, something to look forward to at breakfast!

Hmmm...can't get them while the HOT sogn is on? Through them in the microwave for 7-12 seconds (depending on the microwave) and get that "just made, HOT" flavor.

How good is a KK? My <90 pound wife can eat 6 in 10 minutes while I am stuck driving!

We were on the wonder last sept and had them delivered every morning from room service with juice and coffee.
They are the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is one in South Jersey in Brick, right across the street from where I work. It is(was) the first one in NJ, and people camped out in the parking lot before they opened to get these donuts!!

KK donuts are ......well....donuts. I saw donuts on the Magic but didn't see any Krispy Kreme boxes.
Here in my neck of the woods we have several KK shops. In each case there is a mom & pop donut shop within a block. THAT is the place to go for good, reasonably priced donuts.
KK are $6.99 a dozen here. Mom & Pop donuts are $3.99.

they are yummy and I could eat many, but I always think of the ad with the girl who has two whole donuts are her rear and that seems to deter me from eating too many.

You could nuke 'em and they would be ALMOST as good as the fresh ones. I wonder if they would nuke them for us?

Oh you guys are driving me crazy:crazy: I love KK fresh off the line. Got a KK place about 20 minutes away. When I visit there, not to often, I always get a few dozen for the freezer, the nuking works great.

Yeap I saw them bring the KK box out at Topsiders on our last cruise.

Karen, KEH, if you ate any of the donuts there last year you were eating KK, but Honey, they're so much better fresh off the line. YUMMY!!!!!

Iuvtogo,
You beat me to the punch, my mom lives in Brick and I have to stop myself from getting KK nearly every time I go see her. I think they are like chips, just can't eat just one.
