Poor misguided folks

dunkin donuts are the best because they have cake donuts AND they have the other kind. Nothing like their powdered fluffy donuts!

I grew up a yankee and then became a d*rn yankee when i moved south, imagine my distress when the simple pleasures in life like carvel icecream, dunkin donuts could not be found.

Then, I moved midwest and still can't get DD or Carvel and now i also can't get tastykakes, or cinnaburst gum! Not to mention no Entemmann's cakes either!
The good news is you can order tastyKakes by the case over the internet..yes my freezer is full of them!
I have to rely on hubby to bring me stuff from his trips around the country.


Does anyone know do they still make dresslers cakes? you know frozen food section have sprinkles on them(birthday cakes) loved those, but haven't seen them in ages.

from a die hard yankee, want me to mail you a box???? love my dd cake donuts, but it is hard to pas on a KK glazed, when I find one!

I'll tell ya, i LOVE Dunkin coffee!! I am a die hard red sox too (sorry, CAN'T call myself a Y*****!!!! LOL) but, i think KK donuts have dd beat hands down!! And do you know HOW bad a cake donut is for you??!!! LOL

It doesn't. It has to be hot to be great, but even cool KK donuts are good.

I agree! Hot ones are great but I'd never turn down a cooled one!!


Paul in CT - The one in Williamsburg is gross. We went there one night and couldn't even sit in the place. But the one down the street from me is equally as bad.

Although I do have to admit to hitting the DD drive thru (only KK around me is 15 minutes away) on the way to high school to get a boston creme donut many times. But you can cover up a DD donut shoving custard inside and slathering it with chocolate icing, so that doesn't really count .

Unless it's a KK in TN, in which case it'll be wearing white and orange.......GO VOLS!!!!! I can't wait for Saturday!!!!!!
