After 3 years of trying Kouzina it's time to put an end to this failure.

While we've had outstanding service, the menus lack depth. Even out servers have agreed with us!

Bring back Spoodles!

You are correct, and I completely agree with bring back Spoodles -

Kouzina - the service is very good, and I feel bad for the servers when they know it's not good, we never let the food quality effect what we tipped. The food quality is just not good, and really not much of a selection, we have tried 3 times and the last time was such a failure that we paid for drinks and went to ESPN to grab a beer and burger, we waitied almost 40 min's for the appetizer, when we said enough is enough and asked for the manager.
~vs~
Spoodles - the service was always very good even at peak times, ( 12 for dinner on Chritmas day, perfect meal and perfect service) the food quality and taste was for us very good, loved their sangria!! We always made it a point to eat there each trip and when we were living is Fl we would drive over have dinner there, watch the fire works from the bridge, and head to DTD after great date night.

Spoodles is the winner for us.

If the food quality isn't good then it is the fault of the chefs cooking it or the ingredients they use which would be an easy fix if whomever is in charge of the kitchen is paying attention

I would advise everyone that isn't happy with the food to contact wdw.guest.communications@disney.com and let them know your thoughts.

If they receive enough complaints they will make changes, they have before

I have liked Kouzzina every time I've been there, so it is not unanimous and I sure don't want Spoodles back.

I really enjoyed our breakfast at Kouzinna and would say it was one of the better more creative choices :/

I also have to add that the last time I ate at Kouzzina, which was April of 2011, I loved my meal, and can't say I noticed a longer than normal wait time. I even have it booked for my December trip. Now you have me rethinking my reservation, darn it!;)

Our meal at Kouzzina was the dining highlight of our February trip. DD had the Fisherman's Stew, DH had the lamb and I had the Kouzzina trio. We all loved our meals and would order them again, although we also so several other choices that appealed to us. Kouzzina has now become a "must do" for us. We have ADRs for October and January and can't wait to go back!

Maybe i'll give kouzzina a try one day, but honestly the dinner menu doesnt look very appealing to me. And i love meditteranean food! But as i said, one day i'll give it a shot. Why not right? ;)

Breakfast seems to be the most popular choice. The negative reviews i've seen is usually for dinner.

We stay at the BW often and I can't tell you how many times we have walked up to Kouzzina, looked at the menu and just walked away. We always hope that the menu has changed, but, sadly, it's always the same. Nothing on it appeals to us!:confused3

We ate there for the first and last time last Dec. We were disappointed in food, menu and overall restaurant. I wish the would put in something family friendly and fun. It is on the Boardwalk and it would be neat to have something more casual maybe some sort of counter service/food court or variety to choose from. That is the problem I feel with the Boardwalk. There is not a casual eating place. Otherwise I love it.

Hmmm I think the menu sounds great....I've been wanting to try Kouzzina for a while....Is the food quality really that bad, or do you think that maybe that style of food just isn't your taste?

In my experience, its not exactly my taste. I have a better time sticking to the appetizers, as I'm not thrilled with their entrees. I had the entree trio, the chicken was the only one that I'd eat again and I expected it to be my least favorite.

I'd consider going back, we usually stay at BWV so you can't beat the location. I do miss Spoodles - the original Spoodles. The last few years of their operation it just wasn't the same. Loved the tapas.

We like it. It's something different and more interesting than the standard family diner approach that many Disney restaurants now take. We also liked Spoodles.

At Kouzzina, we always order a variety of appetizers, rather than entrees, since we think the appetizer selections are more creative and interesting. We have not been thrilled with the desserts.

I was never a fan of Spoodles and sure wouldn't want it back.

As for Kouzzina--as others have said, the menu is not very appealing. I think Cat Cora could have done much better.

Kouzzina is a must-do for me, for both breakfast and dinner! I definatly prefer it to Spoodles.

I have to respectfully disagree with the original post. Our meal at Kouzzina's was one of the best of our trip (the fishermans stew was fantastic). The service was good and the we all liked the atmosphere. I can't comment on Spoodles because I was never there.

ESPN and the Brewery are both casual table service, and they have the Bakery for counter service, although very limited. So I wouldn't say there is a total lack of casual places per se, but maybe you could turn it into a food courty place with a Nathan's hot dogs, NY style pizza, etc., to fit the theme.

I will say Kouzzina could be better. Our meal there two years ago was "meh". We'll maybe try it again in November, but we aren't in a huge rush. Something else would be better, in our opinion, but what that is I'm not sure yet.

DH and I have enjoyed three outstanding dinners (different items each time) at Kouzzina. We've been there with a large group and everyone was happy. My brother was at the Swan on business a couple of months ago and took his whole crew there for dinner and everyone raved about how good it was.

Pick any WDW restaurant and it will be on Best lists AND Worst lists. One of our favorites is Boma and I am always amazed to see the "yuck" "gross" and "most disgusting food ever" comments from those who just didn't care for it.
