All of the buffets are out as they have diary and meats on the same buffet. You can call the various hotels and see if they are kosher. My guess would be that the Grand Floridan would be able to make accommadations. You might want to check at AKL and Wilderness Lodge, too.

If you keep kosher because of religious conviction, then it's worth the effort and cost, even though yeah, it's pretty much airplane food. If you keep kosher because of, well, anything else, then you may think the cost is too high. The food IS prepackaged and served in disposables - it would have to be, to meet rabbinical standards. There are no true kosher restaurants in WDW - they do an excellent job, however, in accomodating those whose religious convictions make it impossible to eat in regular restaurants.

Me, I like a cheeseburger - but I know my kashrut :teeth: .

:rotfl2: I'm on the kosher lite diet...no pork, no shellfish, but darn you if you keep from a cheeseburger.

They do Kosher food at Ray's Starlight Café in MK and a few other locations, which you don't need to pre-order. But I'm not sure they do it at the full service restaurants - just snack places, I think.

It's packaged and it's not very good! But it's convenient. I certainly wouldn't bother sitting down in a restaurant to eat it.

I think they have something Kosher in epcot in the American Pavilion. I shared a boat going in that direction with a school group from a Yeshiva and their teacher was reminding them they had to order Kosher when they got there.

I ordered the Kosher burger once at Cosmic Ray's because I was lazy, I'm not Jewish...at that time the Kosher meal could be ordered at the salad window, and Mom wanted a salad, I didn't want to stand in two lines to get myself a burger. :) Anyway, I though the burger was pretty good. I liked the bread it was served with better than a regular hamburger bun, and the potato cakes were better than fries. I did add some non-kosher toppings, though.

But it is true, the kosher meals are pre-packaged and sealed.

I would call table service venues ahead of time, like you would for any dietary restrictions, and see what kosher meals they offer. While I'm sure they'd be pre-packaged, you may have your choice of several entrees.

Yes all meals are pre packaged. I liked the Chicken strips the best for counter service.
