In the spirit of saving money, I've decided to try the Disboard hint of getting ice water at the CSs and occassionally add some Koolaid or other "singles" type of flavor.

For those of your that have done this: What size are the water cups? Does one single packet flavor the full cup?

Thanks! Y'all give the best tips!

We take propel packets and have reusable water bottles that we will fill up with a cup of ice water and then add the propel to it that way I can close it and don't have to worry. I'm not sure of the ounces on our bottles, probably 24 ozs? and one packet is fine but I don't like my water super flavored.

Has anyone ever seen the flavor packets for just sweet tea without another flavor like lemon or peach. I think I look every time I go to the store hoping that someone will think to make plain tea.

There are a couple of sites where you can purchase them if you really need them.

Don't know if I am allowed to send this link, although I have seen people put links in before, so here it goes. If I am wrong, I apologize and Moderators, please remove and I apologize. I am just trying to help.

Are there any of those without artificial sweetner in them?? I can never find them if there are - lol...

What we do is just dump enough tea or lemonade mix into a large zip top bag that way we can add it as we need depending on the size cup they give us - sometims it seems to be a med size cup, sometimes its HUGE!! lol!!! but anyway it was easy to do and we did fine!!

I looked at Walmart the other day because I can't have artificial sweeteners, and the only packets I found that had sugar were some of the Koolaid packets (but some were sugar free, so you have to look close), Country Time Lemonade, and fruit punch (but I can't remember the brand).

You have to be careful - the Country Time seems to be sugar free, but the Kool-Aid was 50% sugar and 50% sweetener on every flavor I saw at Walmart.

I think Gatorade makes them with 100% sugar, but the store I was at yesterday didn't have them.

If I can't find them w/o sweetener, it won't kill the kids to drink artificial sweeteners for 1 week.

Also, I have found that the kroger and walmart brands are just as good for most flavors, and a lot cheaper ($1.79 for WM brand v. $2.49 for CL).

I bought some kool aid packets last year and earlier this year at bjs in a huge box and they were crazy cheap so now I wonder if they were changing them and that's why. I haven't looked this year but last year they were still full sugar no artificial stuff.

I can't have any artificial sweetners so I really hope they don't change them all! I hate that now everything is artificial sweetner this and that. It's almost imppossible to find something that is full of normal fats, sugars and flavors! It's fine that there are options for people that want them but leave some for the rest of us.

Last summer country time was fine but I haven't bought any since. The kool aid packets I have are for 16.2 oz water bottles.
