Kona Pressed Pot Coffee

Could someone tell me if Kona's Pressed Pot Coffee is really strong. I'm not a fan of strong coffee(ex. Starbucks). I like Dunkin Donuts coffee. I tried the Kona Blend coffee last year at Kona's and I did not like it. Thanks

I did have it for the first time last year and I thought it was very strong.. my husband loves it, however, he loves strong coffee.

If you didn't like the Kona Blend, you won't like a pressed pot. It's very strong.

Kona is not that strong, better than Nescrape of course. Now Boma pressed pot, that is super strong

BUT I need to say that I drink Starbucks quad (4 shot of espresso) lattes every single day so strong to me is all relative

We had coffee at Kona's, not sure if it was pressed or not but it was the worst coffee I ever had

the pressed pot comes in a funky little pot...that you press down on to make the coffee - or the waiter does it for you, but it's at the table. You'd know if you got pressed pot!

It is strong tasting - definitely a dark roast. I don't think it's as strong-tasting as Starbucks, but way stronger than the nescafe. If you don't like strong coffee I wouldn't spend $7.99 to get this!

Also, to anyone who does get it & likes it - did you know they will give you a "to-go" cup & lid if you can't finish the whole pot (it makes like 20 oz or something...a lot of coffee with a meal.)

Thanks for all the replies..I don't like strong coffee so I won't spend the extra money to try it. I feel disappointed that I can't get a decent cup of coffee with my breakfast at Disney Oh well, I guess I'll stick with Diet Coke

Just an FYI, anytime you get a french press of any coffee it will be a stronger brew than if you used a drip coffeepot or a percolator.

I went solo to the Kona Cafe this morning and I ordered the french press and I am SO glad that I did! I didn't think it was too strong---much smoother than anything Starbucks serves.

I was able to get the take-away cup and enjoyed it on my drive home!

LOVE the french press at Kona. It is strong but not bitter. I did not know about the to-go cup. I will make good use of that next trip!

I loved Kona's pressed pot coffee and I don't like strong coffee... like starbucks brewed coffee. I thought it was very good and not too strong! I look forward to getting another pot when my mom and I head back in May!
