Next month on our trip we are going to the Spirit of Aloha show. My hubby and I are going to the Kona cafe beforehand to enjoy a cup of coffee. Is it any good there? I'm assuming they serve Kona coffee, which I love. Is it? Should we bother?

There regular coffee is a Kona blend. They also have a "Pressed pot" that is 100% Kona coffee. I am not a coffee drinker, but others who have been with me have told me it is wonderful.

There is a little coffee bar outside of the actual cafe, so you could just grab a cup there without having to sit in the cafe.

Kona coffee is good...
I am not a coffee drinker but I made it a point to get some when we eat there... :)
and yeah like Harambe said, there's a cafe outside where you can get it.

I agree, unless it's dead, I wouldn't take a table for coffee, especially when they serve the same thing at the adjacent coffee bar and you can enjoy it in the lobby area.

FYI The coffee bar isn't open all day/evening. We stayed there in Dec., and I think remember only seeing it open in the a.m.

I agree. We stay at the Polynesian three or four times/year these days and I've never seen the coffee bar open past noon. Not sure when it closes exactly though.

But if Kona is crowded I imagine you could order coffee to go.
