Kona Cafe vs Ohana's

Which do you prefer? Trying to line up my ADR's.

They are totally different dining experiences and we love them both.

The food at 'Ohanna is quite good but the focus is on eating until you drop. As my son says, eat until you are going to explode and then have one more serving of the Bread Pudding.

Kona, has some truly great appetizers and an amazing bread. And of course you get choices for you meal rather than working from a fixed menu.

I would never be able to choose between the two, so we always visit both.

I agree, they are very different, but both excellent. We went to 'Ohana last trip and are going to Kona the next trip.

If I had to choose, I think I slightly prefer Kona. I don't eat all that much, so I always feel bad at all-you-can-eat restaurants. I love the bread pudding at 'Ohana, but I also absolutely love the tuna oscar at Kona, and Kona has excellent desserts... I think Kona has a slight edge in this race, but that's my personal preference!

We do Kona at least one dinner each trip. Sometimes twice. It's my DM's favorite TS. We did 'Ohana a few years back for dinner but didn't care for it. However, we do like it for breakfast.

Ohana woulld be my choice, the ambiance, delicious food and the dessert! Also the shrimp were amazing.

Thanks for your replies. I did book both restaurants this morning. Can't wait to try Kona's. We have eaten at Ohana's and it's the kids' favorite restaurant. Thanks again!

We just got back on Friday, and we did both.
I'm not even a big meat eater, but I love Ohana for the sides,the salad, and the dipping sauces. The beef was very good.

Kona is calmer, amazing bread (OMG!), and I loved my shrimp and scallops. The kids got the Kona Cloud for dessert, so that was a thrill.

I WANNA GO BACK !!!!

IF you want a good meal with relative peace and quiet--Kona. IF you like screaming and yelling--Ohana.

Kona would be my choice. Food is better IMO and the atmosphere is quieter and you don't feel rushed through your meal.

I've done Kona for lunch or dinner almost every trip. I wanted to try Ohana this September but it was booked solid for the night I wanted so it's Kona again! I think Kona tends to be alot easier to get a good ADR.
