Kona Cafe vs. Liberty Tree Tavern

hey guys, debating between these two for dinner on a MNSSHP night. Which has the best food?

We ate at Kona on our most recent trip (May 2008) and Liberty Tree Tavern on a previous trip.....they are completely different but I would have to say Kona hands down.....we will eat there every trip now.....

Just based on food, Kona. That being said, LTT will not have characters there next year, so it might be a last chance to experience that (don't know if that matters to you or not), plus it is super convenient for MNSSHP.

We love LTT, but, I would have an early dinner at Kona so we could hit the ground running when we got to the party!

on a hard-ticket event, I'd be hard pressed to do a sitdown meal, period.
But I wouldn't waste extra time leaving the park to go to dinner. I'd do LTT.

I vote for an early dinner at Kona Cafe...much better food (and fast service.)

Hard choice but I would have to say Kona on this one. We did both in September of 07. Both have great food but we have had better luck with service at Kona.

Kona Cafe does have GREAT Food but if you haven't done LTT before and are interested in the characters, you might want to consider it this time since come January they will be gone! We ate at the KC last year before going to MVMCP and found it rushed and so this year we are eating at LTT beforehand. Good luck with your decision!
