kona cafe only place to get tonga toast?

after seeing so many yummy pics of tonga toast and reading everyone's raves about it, well....i'm thinking i'd like to try it. but not sure if i could even get an adr at this late stage (going in 10 days!!!) am i out of luck?

I believe Capt. Cooks the counter service in the Poly also has it...

We have been able to get last minute ADR's at Kona quite a few times. Call and try I think you can probably get one. Tonga toast is the best. Oh and yes you can get it at Captain Cook's.

I made one for us yesterday and we'll be there in 2 weeks. They also have a similar item at Boatwright's at POR, banana stuffed french toast with a strawberry sauce (I think). HTH.

They are open - call right now and see if you can get a reservation. Breakfast there is usually fairly easy to get into, even day of.

We've called same day to get a breakfast ADR at Kona and had no trouble. You should be able to get in easily.

Captin Cooks does serve Tonga Toast but just be aware that it can very busy in the morning! We don't like eating inside, but love grabbing a pool side table; the lagoon area is so nice in the morning!

I'd take a bus to the MK and catch the monorail over. Captain Cooks is located in the Grand Ceremonial House, 1st floor, by the pool. It's quick service so you shouldn't have a problem waiting etc.

If your going back to the MK, you can then walk to the TTC and catch the express monorail/ferry back, catch a boat from the resort boat dock (will stop at GF then MK), or just finish riding the resort monorail through the GF! If not, just catch a bus from the resort bus stop or walk over to the TTC and catch the monorail to Epcot.
