In May we will be going to O'hana's for the first time and it will be for breakfast. We are really looking forward to it because we have heard so many wonderful reviews. I've also never been to Kona Cafe. What do you think about this place? Would you recommend breakfast, dinner or both? Thanks

We LOVE the Kona. Breakfast, lunch, dinner......they are all great. For my family, every trip to WDW has to include at least one meal there, no matter what. And be sure to check out their wonderful desserts!

We stayed at Poly for 8 days last fall. We had lunch at Kona Cafe when we arrived, breakfast there every morning (after our first 100% Kona Coffee Press Pot, Hubby would not have breakfast anywhere else), and we had a very good dinner there one night. Nice menu, reasonable prices, good portions, very friendly staff.

Favorites included: Sticky Wings, Tonga Toast, Kona Delight (melon, granola, yogurt & honey--a healthy breakfast bargain), salmon, stir fry.

Don't miss this place!

Have to agree Kona's for dinner & lunch is very good, I am not a breakfast person but have heard rave reviews about Konas for breakfast.

Are priority seatings difficult to get for these restaurants?

disneydave2003--We booked 'Ohana several weeks before our trip--it was mobbed that evening. it is a very popular restaurant, so PS is a must to avoid disappointment. We did PS for Kona Cafe breakfast a couple of times, but didn't really need it. Keep in mind, we were there in Sept-Oct, not the busiest time.

Kona is on my 'favorites' list now too. It will probably become a 'must do.' Very underrated...I think.

Another Kona fan here! In 5 visits in the last year and a half(2 breakfasts, 3 dinners) we have always found the food, service, and atmosphere to be wonderful.
We have never had lunch there other than take out sticky wings, which again, were great. We really enjoyed them out by the pool area.

Is the Kona Cafe the restaurant that is located near the monorail? So it is easy access from the Magic Kingdom?

Yes, Mickey Mom, that's the one. Depending on where you are seated, you can watch the monorail come into the Poly station.
