I'm not bashin anyone and peeps saying I ain't nice just breaks my heart.
All I'm saying is I've become aware of a "liberal open return policy" and heard stories about returns that I think needs to be revisited. My shock / horror was that it was that knowledge of the open / liberal return policy was so widespread among a majority of the PP's.
I could say it's not very "nice" of some of the peeps here to return things they have had for several years. It impacts the stores performance which is taking money out of the shareholders pockets. That's not very "nice" . I respectfully suggest that anyone who has a problem with that should spend 54 dollars and buy a whole share of the stock and see if you are still encouraging ladies to return their old bras.
There is a need to keep customers "happy" as it's been expressed here. But losing a few "happy" customers and their old shoes, old bras and old appliances, and kid clothes might be a good idea. Not sure if you just start a database and only allow one such return a year. I support happy and satisfied customers which is why I hate to see the return policy changed but I think they need to be aware and look into the actual numbers. If it is being as abused as it appears by the masses , someting might need to be done.
Maybe rewrite the whole policy and give three months no exceptions except warranty issues. Not my job to figure out. My job is to escalate the issue to senior management for review and consideration.

I'm sorry if my candid responses were not viewed as "nice" and that my first impression was not "good" . I'm more concerned about my bottom line than my impression though

I'm sure you understand.
