I bought an expensive item online at Kohls and got $75 in bucks however I received the item today and don't like it. When I return it to the store can I just give them my print out for the bucks that I haven't used? I don't want them subtracting the $75 from my return on my credit card like they did one other time I returned an item. How does this work?

Yes, print out the kohl's cash coupon and take it with you. They can tell that the KC hasn't been used and they'll deactivate the code. You'll then get a full refund. BTDT! :)

Oh, that's great. Last time the clerk didn't ask for the bucks and just deducted the total from my return, and I had to go buy something I didn't want just to use the $10!

If you haven't used the Kohl's cash then your return will simply deactivate it. You don't even need to bring it in. You'll lose the benefit of spending that $75 for free - so to speak - but you should receive exactly what you paid for the item that earned the Kohl's cash as long as you haven't spent the kohl's cash.

Hope that makes sense.
