Funny thing is I also absolutely hate calling service numbers for things in general, it stresses me out. But I have to say that for DVC and the cruise line I don't mind them as they are usually pretty helpful. Maybe I've just been lucky and always gotten someone in a good mood.

At least the hold music is good when calling Disney.

Not sure if I am more excited to hear how your husband does w/ calling MS or if you will get the additional bonus OTUP. I'm rooting for you and your husband!

ahhh the suspense! First call was a no go but the CM was clearly confused because she said I already bought on that use year and I did not. So I made him call again.

I just noticed my gift card balance dropped $339 so... it's looking good!

Okay so it worked OTUP BOGO acquired on my 2nd membership (not blue card eligible) by my husband. We are both on both memberships.

I will have to get all the details on how it went down later since he was late to a meeting. (glad I was booking a 1 bed not a studio or he may have hung up )

Well just spent 15 min explaining to my husband what he need to call and ask and say. Also sent it in writing via text. Hes not loving calling at all. "cant you just call and pretend to be me" We shall see if they allow him to buy MMB and get OTUP on our 2nd membership.

Oh really? Our 2nd membership isn't blue card, but DW & I are on both. Maybe I need to get my DW to call in to get the OTUP BOGO, and I can already hear her cursing at me. It does require a 2nd MMB, right?

When he called back he just said "i think when I just called I got some bad info so I just want to start over, here is what Im trying to do" SO he said how he wanted to buy MMB but only if he can get OTUP BOGO for the reservation. The CM said "okay let me see if the reservation is available" it was so he bought the MMB and OTUP BOGOs.

My husband said I dont know why you you thought this was sneaky, the guy was clear that this is per person not per membership... I was like I know it's confusing.

If there an easy way to see what use year I bought OTUP for in the past, so I know if I'm able to buy them for my current use year?

I have a December use year. I know I bought 24 OTUP in April 2025 but I don't remember if they were used in May 2025 (by reallocating) or in December 2025. Those are two different use years for me. They were used for my resale contract. Now I have a direct contract (same Dec UY) and I'm considering buying MMB, so I need to know if I'm eligible to buy the 24 OTUP. If not, then I'm probably not buying MMB.
