Saturday 5/7, Moving Day
We woke up, said our good-byes to Grandma, Grandpa, and the Shades of Green. We moved on over to Coronado Springs. We had no problems checking in and were given a room in the Ranchos that was already ready. We stopped off at La Tienda and picked up some breakfast items, box of cereal, milk, etc. and drove over to our room.
After polishing off the breakfast, we headed off to MK. We had a great day. The weather was the best of our entire stay, sunny and about 80. We broke for an early dinner at the Concourse Steakhouse at the Contemporary aroud 4:30. The steaks we had were pretty tasty. But the kids really enjoyed their cookies.
Bo Bo painted more on his face than his cookie.
They didn't have enough sugar Mickeys for Knucklehead.
On the way back over to the MK we were able to ride in the front of the Monorail. We had a very young and friendly driver. And everyone received another Co-Pilot's license.
Bo Bo enjoying the view.
At the end of the night Knucklehead and I just had to ride Splash Mountain again. We hustled over there just before the Spectro Magic parade started. We were able to watch parts of the parade from the ride. We got soaked and ran around and rode it again. Wishes was going on when we exited the ride. We all met up at the gift shop and waited for the fireworks to end. Then we once again took our time leaving the park.
Knucklehead and Bo Bo strolling towards Liberty Square.
The Monorails and the Ferry were all still backed up when we exited the MK, so we decided to walk over to the Contemporary and catch the Monorail to the TTC there.
While we were walking over, we found a little girl's shoe laying in the walkway. DW said, "Someone will be looking for this."
So we decided to take it into the CR's front desk. But, as we were approaching the CR's bus stops, I noticed a lady sitting on one of the benches with a sleeping little girl on her lap, who just happened to be missing a shoe. The mother didn't even know it was missing until we handed it to her. They thanked us and we continued on into the CR.
DW bought some candy at one of the stores there, and then we got on the nearly empty Monorail. It was getting late. We found our van and drove back to CSR.
The lake was beautiful that night as we glanced at it before we went into our room for our last night's sleep at Disney World.
