ya'll are a cute couple! i've really enjoyed your posts - we were wondering about nine dragons and chefs de france so we appreciate your time in posting these reviews!

We were debating about eating at Cape May, but since we were staying at the Beach Club we made a reservation once we arrived, and we are glad we did.

Wait Time: they handed us the pager like thing, we sat down, and it went off immediately

Service: did ok with beverage refills, but nothing special

Selection: For being a clam bake buffet there are plenty of choices for those picky eaters!!

Food: DH loved the clam bake!!!! I loved the desserts, the oreo bon bons are fabulous! Just stay away from the carving station. Whatever it was it was cold and too chewy.

DH salad plate

My first plate. On it is corn on cob, ribs, bread, noodles, chicken leg, and the nasty carving station item

DH second plate, not really sure what it on it

My second plate, oh the pizza had definately been out for a couple of hours.

DH last plate, he loved it

Of course I had to try all of the desserts. The cupcake was too dry, but everything else was good

a hidden mickey dessert. The ears are oreo bon bons. They are wonderful!!!!!

Return: DH says we would, I would also return, those oreo bon bons are on the level of zebra domes

recommend: Yes, one of the better buffets. Unique but good for all types of eaters

This is DH favorite counter service location. He actually ate there three times during our vacation.

With that information DH can only give Sommerfest:

He had the braut and sausage but here is a pic of one of them, not sure which one, I really don't eat this type of food

Return: DH will definately
Recommend: Only if you like the sausage and saurkrat food, I won't eat there, but DH will eat there at every opportunity he gets

I ate at cape may back in 2000 and loved it. Those oreo bon bons looked yummy.

I ate here once in the past and just remember it being a good value, and it is a ton of food. However, I did not like it as much this time

I had the Meatball Platter: It was bland but i could still taste the meatballs about 10 hours later. At the moment the food was decent, but the taste in my mouth many hours later knocked it down a figment. On the other hand, the rice was pretty good.

return: Honestly no, and I am not a fan of the other foods they offer

recommend: I would not recommend the meatball platter, but maybe try the other foods if you like that type of food.

If you decide to go another time try the rotisserie chicken, it is wonderful. The olive salad is great too

Glad to hear good reviews for CM clambake. we are going there for dinner this Friday night and we all love clams and mussels and your pics looked really good. yes, i'm excited about the bon bons and i was a big fan of the zebra domes a couple of weeks ago too. looking forward to it after your review.
