I learned to knit many years ago the english/american way, with the yarn held in the right hand. Lately my right wrist hurts when I knit, so I am trying to switch to the left hand holding the yarn. I just knit a round and I see the knit stitches are on the needle wrong, with the aft bit forward, if you know what I mean. What am I doing wrong?

Anyone know of some internet instruction on left handed/continental knitting?

AS long as the stiches are all the same what difference does it make. I am much faster since I switched to my left hand. There are a couple of things that feel different but if you are consistent they will work out.

I have always held the yarn in the left hand since I started. Once you get the hang out of it everything will look fine.

Thanks all. After a few days of practice doing rib stitch, I have to agree, it is much faster!!:thumbsup2
