Kmart Toy Sale

Agree Target was quite disappointing after being at Kmart this week. Normally, I would have been very excited over their markdowns but I have already bought most of my Christmas and birthday stuff at Kmart.

I agree. It was very smart of Kmart to have their "toy clearance sale" before Target's. I was really happy b/c I'm going to be out of town the projected week of target's sale anyway. There were a few things you guys found that I wanted and couldn't find. Oh well!

My Kmart had Barbie horses you pushed a button on the saddle and their mouths opened and closed I know they scanned for $4

I'm Jealous!!!! I wish I had found one of those.

Went to our Target today and they mostly had 30% off original price . I read on the Target Thread that things should be 75% by end of month.

My Target had a bunch of stuff marked down 30-50% off today. now I just have to hope the stuff I want is still there when they switch it all to 75%

Target has a huge toy clearance sale where toys are marked 75% off. The projected 75% off date is Thursday, July 30. The toys there clear out realllly fast, so if you want something, you better be there fairly early (although the employees need time to mark stuff down.) I called this morning before heading out to KMart to see if the clearance was still on and I was told it was over as of 10 PM last night. I mentioned it going to $4.99 - but was told it was done. I'll be curious to hear if anyone else has any luck this week.
I was away last week, so I missed the whole sale. I was hoping it would still be on!!Sorry I missed it. I guess I'll be heading to Target at the end of the month.

i hit this thread a little late unfortunately, but i ran to my kmart this morning. nothing good on clearance there right now. but she whispered to me to wait for tomorrow to buy anything. she said they are due to do another batch on clearance. fingers crossed and hoping she is right.

Thanks so much....I saw this thread Friday night and went to Kmart yesterday. I got so much awesome stuff....birthdays and Christmas are almost totally done! Yesterday was my 2 year old's birthday....I got him the Radio Flyer turtle (reg $50 - sale $18) and he LOVES it!

Quick update - my DH had to run an errand near our KMART so he popped in for me to check. I wasn't expecting much since the sale ended and the bargains we all got were definitely not there anymore. He said some of the original 50% items are still there with the yellow stickers. For example, the hand held Transformers game we got for $5.00 that was originally $22.00 (but marked to $11.00) was $11.00 when he just checked. So - don't go hoping for miracles but apparently some items are still 50%.

Now if any new sales pop up - keep us updated!!

I headed out last night and was able to find some great bargains for my son. My big find was a Star Wars Voice Changing Helmet for $13.00. Got both kids Leapsters and a few other odds and ends.

I went to 2 stores, and when I checked out at the 2nd store I got some sort of catalina that stated there was going to be some type of "outstanding clearance event" from June 17-19 in a number of departments. Spring and Summer Toys were included. Maybe this is when the rest of the clearance toys will be discounted further?
