Kmart (Martha Stewart) Christmas tree

Did anyone buy a Martha Stewart prelit Christmas tree over the weekend? Did it work for you or is it still in the box?

I bought one for $37.49 doorbuster price (6-1/2 ft. prelit-white bear paw #65) and as I was assembling it, 3 entire bottom branches of lights went out! We changed the fuses and it didn't work. So, I packed it up and returned it for another one...set the new tree up, fluffed the branches and the entire middle section of lights goes out! I jiggle the branches and the lights come on. It's up and decorated, but that tree is going back after Christmas. What a pain

I should have resisted exchanging it for a second tree, but it is a beautiful tree. The clue to just get my money back should have been the 3 carts full of returned MS Xmas trees by customer service

Yes!! Well, not the same tree, but the same problem and the same store!

I bought a 6ft Trim A Tree prelit wire tree for the front yard on Friday morning - $29.99! Got it home, put it up, looked great for an hour and then a whole section of lights went out. Ugh.

Took it back the next day, put the new one up, and within an hour - same thing!!



By Sunday they were on sale for $25, so by noon all of the stores were sold out so I couldn't exchange it again if I wanted to. I've left it, because so far I just can't be bothered.

I bought the 7.5 ft. tree and it is just fine.
