KLM code for June 2014 help....

I'm joined and am trying to use the KLM code on National and am getting crazy high rates as compared to when I price it without this code. I am entering it in the Corp code box. I need the car June 25 thru July 1st and it comes to over $800...I think I saw someone else posted for almost the same time fram and got the deal. Please help...Thank you!

If you read through various threads on here, you will find that NO CODE consistently gives the best rates.

For my dates your airline code was ALWAYS at least $60 more than NO CODE at all (a few times almost $200) and was always more than $100 more than another code I use.

So, the answer to your question is that sometimes it gives a decent rate, sometimes it does not and sometimes it gives a very horrible rate. Sometimes it depends on location.

It may give a great rate at noon today, but by 1 pm today it may give a rate hundreds more than you can get without it.

In the "olden days" it seemed to always give a good rate at all locations in the US. Not so much anymore.

I have a car booked with National using this code in PHX in June 2014. At the time I booked in February it was a great rate...a couple hundred cheaper than any other place.
I check weekly and have now beat the KLM code using Budget. My Budget rate beats the KLM with National rate by $50 which is big. Like others said watch the rates and rebook. This week my rate dropped by $10 and I canceled old and rebooked at new rate, as every penny counts. Today the rate is over $200 more than the rate I am booked at using Costco. Dollar was a little lower BUT they don't offer second driver free and that is a biggie with us.

I booked a car in Seattle with the KLM code for July and it was about $200 cheaper ($500 vs $316) than without the code. It also included all the various insurance options.
