When it was announced at work today that Kitty Carlisle had passed away there were two reactions.

#1 Oh my God!

and

#2 Who's Kitty Carlisle?

I had the same thing with Gene Rayburn (of Match Game) when he passed..

Or when I saw Brett Somers on the GSN special on Match Game and I was like.. "Ok.. she has a deal with the devil.. she's STILL alive.."

I must be old because I know who she was, and I thought she died a long time ago too. I also thought Bret Somers did too because wasn't she pretty old when she was on Match Game a looong time ago?

I remember Kitty Carlisle. She was in her nineties. Sheesh. Lived a good long life and didn't seem to suffer unduly with the leave taking of this world.

Don Ho just died too. Same thing. Did a show and then died of heart failure shortly thereafter. He was 76. My Mom used to love to hear him sing that blasted song! I preferred it when he sang traditional music.

Gene Rayburn is dead?!?!? When did that happen? According to IMDB, it was 1999. I'm so up to date on current events.
