I'm watching the Travel Channel as I type this and they just showed the Y&B Club and Beaches and Cream restaurant. The showed how they make the "Kitchen Sink" and my 12DS's eyes got huge:eek: and wanted to know if that was for one person??!!! I told him no but that we were going there!!! Have you ever had it??? How many ate it? How much was it???

We had our first kitchen sink a few weeks ago. It is 21.00 but we got it for our dessert with an 11.00 voucher from Connections. We were not crazy for the kitchen sink. It is to messy and had alot of topping that we didn't like. The Q&C vouchers for 11.00 are a great value at Beaches and Cream. Learn more at www.mousesavers.com

I believe if a single person can eat the Kitchen Sink by themselves (within an hour) they get it free. I'm not positive about that but I believe that is true. We had it last year...4 of us...and as Muffy indicated, it gets to be quite messy. When they bring it out it is awesome. But after everyone is digging into it for several minutes, it begins to look like a dirty mud puddle. It was a lot bigger than the menu reads and I too saw it made on TV the other day....brought back some nice memories.

It was a cool thing to do as we surprised the kids when I ordered it. Glad I did it....probably won't do it again real soon though.

We've always been too full after eating the great burgers and fries to try the kitchen sink but I've promised the kids next time we will try it. It looks like a lot of fun to eat!

Our four kids ages 8, 10, 14 and 15 split one last year. They couldn't finish it. It is huge!!!!! We also got it with a Connections voucher.

OMG!!! that is so BIG:eek: Sure looks like they made a good dent in the "sink" though!!!! Thanks for the great pics!!!

Our Family of 4 ordered the Kitchen Sink. We also split a triple burger, (they have the BEST burgers) salad and a drink and I think fries (can't remember) so there was NO WAY we could finish this. We used a connection voucher and used it for the whole meal. With tip our total would have been around 50.00 with all we ordered...but used our 11.00 voucher, so this was well worth buying the voucher! We ordered the kitchen sink as the dessert. It was 21.99

The Kitchen Sink has a WHOLE can of whipped cream on it (they told us) Also, the presentation of them bringing it to our table was quite the experience:o

Very fun!
:)

My 5 sons 15, 13, 11, 9 and 4 (last years ages) could not finish it. They said it was disgusting with all the flavors and cakes and syrups running together. It sure made for great photos, though! Much, much better in terms of taste would be my all time fave "No Way Jose" sundae with fudge and peanut butter topping!

My son is planning on making a meal of it one night for dinner--he's pushing 6' at 17, with two hollow legs, and the way he eats at home (he can finish off a half gallon in one quick sitting on his own), I think he'll do it :)

Let us all know if he does it. I've got 2 of those hollow-legged 6ft types. One is all ready to try it in May, so I want to hear your results.

Beaches and Cream does not take PS--it is really just a fast food place. We ordered the Kitchen Sink last vacation (June) just to see the kids faces! Well worth it;) We all (4) shared it and there was still plenty left over! It does use a whole can of whipped cream-- the kids helped make it. I wasn't planning on doing this again, but the kids want to take Grandpa and Grandma to see this, so I guess we will do this one last time in April! I figure I'll use three or four Connections vouchers for the six of us. Last time we used two and split everything.

We also split a triple burger
Slightly off topic, but they have such a thing? I know the double burger is on the menu (we get it all the time) but a triple? How did you ask for it? Did they split it for you?

Six of us (4 teens and two Mom's) attempted it last Summer and almost finished it. I think the trick is to stay in one spot when you start eating - that way you don't mix as much together.

It was a lot of fun - and besides, it's cheaper than ordering 6 separate sundaes!

Please help.
Could some one please tell me what Connections vouchers are . Where you buy them, and are they a good deal.
Thanks

Oh--very easy to get there from BWV. It's a pleasant stroll around the lake to the BC, five minutes if you're walking at a moderate pace, ten minutes at a crawl. From the Villas walk towards the Swan/Dolphin, over the bridge and to the YC. The easiest thing to do after that is walk into the YC lobby, immediately turn right and follow the hallway along until it ends and you are forced outside, then continue along the building until you get to B&C.

Yes, they have a triple burger. Oh my. One trip we were very hungry and knew we loved the burgers so much at B&C that I ordered the double and dh ordered the triple. Our eyes were definitely bigger than our stomachs! A triple is a BIG burger but still delicious!
