My mom and I saw a video of Beaches And Cream Soda Shop's famous Kitchen Sink Sundae and I'm curious to know more about it? What exactly does it have in it and what makes it worth $35? I also understand that Beaches And Cream Soda Shop holds a contest to see who can finish the entire Kitchen Sink Sundae as well. Does the winner get a special prize for eating the sundae?

Kitchen Sink (serves four)
Scoops of Vanilla, Chocolate, Strawberry, Cookies ‘n Cream, and Mint Chocolate Chip topped with, Hot Fudge, Peanut Butter, SNICKERS® pieces, Fresh-baked Brownie, and smothered in every additional topping we have. Also available Chocolate Lovers or Neapolitan.
$35.00

Above is the official menu listing. Our family of 4 shared one in 2013? 8 scoops of ice cream, every topping they have, including a full can of whipped cream and a ton of cherries, brownies and I thought there were multiple types of brownies or cake or something. Lol, we barely finished it, but the kids were 9 and 13 then, so they didn't eat their 1/2, lol.

They used to make a big deal when someone ordered it -“a whole can?!” (of whipped cream), but that wasn’t brought back after they reopened (unless it has been recently?). I’ve never heard of any kind of prize for finishing it. I’ve been in there quite a bit when people have finished the kitchen sink and have never witnessed anything special.

A WHOLE CAN?????

We had one back in the day and it was also full of snickers and other candy bars. We asked for a separate bowl and pulled all of the big pieces out and were so full from the ice cream that we barely ate the solid food lol. It was fun and worth it for the experience.

Anyone knows if I can ask for one or two dairy-free scoops? I am dairy-free but wouldn’t mind trying it with my kids!

There is WAY too much dairy in thos for you to try if you can have dairy. It's literally full of candy bars and cakes and stuff, in addition to the ice cream.

We did it once on my son's birthday in 2018. We ordered the "Chocolate Lovers" version and it was SOOO good. There were 4 of us and we didn't even make a dent, but it was fun. It had vanilla, chocolate, and cookies & cream ice cream, caramel, hot fudge, and peanut butter sauces, brownies, oreos, and chocolate sprinkles, and the whole can of whipped cream, obviously.

It was seriously delicious. The regular version has too many competing flavors and textures and the idea of it made us all sick. The chocolate version is more straightforward and the flavors all work in harmony so when everything starts to melt together, it's still delicious.

There is also a chocolate lovers version but I don't know the ingredients other than the whole can of whipped cream. Oh edit I just found it. 3 scoops chocolate ice cream, 3 scoops cookies and cream ice cream, 2 scoops vanilla ice cream, 2 brownies, 2 Milky Ways, Oreos, dark and white chocolate shavings, chocolate chips and sprinkles, hot fudge and caramel syrup AND an entire can of whipped cream!!!! Ooops sorry I didn't see someone else posted this.

LOL! They asked us if we wanted to add peanut butter sauce and of course we said yes!

B&C does have some delicious dairy-free ice cream, though. I think it's coconut dairy-free if I remember right. Either chocolate or vanilla but you can get a sundae.

I know. That's why I was wondering if they could replace 1 or 2 scoops of the regular ice cream with the DF. My kids don't like whipping cream so we would ask without it anyway and while I can eat small amounts of dairy especially in baked goods, I cannot eat pure cream. I would not eat much of the sink, just a few bites so I participate with the rest of the family and then I would let DH and the kids finish it up... I think I'll book it and ask. Worst case scenario is that they cannot and I'll just play paparazzi!

You would never be able to find/separate those scoops though. By the time the sink shows up, it has already started to all melt together. It impossible to even find a specific flavor you are looking for. You just have to dig in.

When we ordered ours, our younger son was very picky about ice cream toppings (he didn't like ANY) and so we asked for 2 of the 8 scoops to be served in a separate bowl on the side. They will do that for you.

DCL would Not require you test again, but If I’m reading the above correctly you have to test to get in to the US? Would a Dr recovery letter suffice if you were positive again?

Wait- they charge you money? There’s no free testing option in Canada?

Thanks. That makes sense and I would be okay with having the scoops on the side. Not as fun but probably safer.

Nope, not back. Server told me that singing and chanting wasn't allowed. Stupid but it is what it is.

In your case, I would suggest having your kids split the souvenir Mickey or Minnie sink, it's a smaller version of the big sink, and you take the plastic sink home. We did that with DD17 last April.

Its big is all I will say....it used to be a lot bigger when the place was smaller and they used to make a big deal about it when someone ordered it....not so much anymore

I watched the same video last night (Paging Mr. Marrow...love Nate). Wow! That brought back some memories. We stumbled upon the Kitchen Sink in 2011. It was our first day of a truly spectacular combo WDW/Disney Dream Cruise vacation. My boys were still boys at 16 and 14. We played in Stormalong Bay and went down the slide after dark. We then stopped in B&C and heard the "and a whole can of whipped cream" chant as they delivered one to another table. We couldn't resist. The four of us finished it, and enjoyed it. It is my fondest "ice cream" memory.

We did it a few years ago and fed all 5 of us. It was so much fun and one of the biggest memories the kids have. It was definitely worth it.

I have to just add, considering that 2 scoops of plain ice cream at Ghirardelli runs about $9 these days, a $35 sundae that can feed like 4-6 people is a STEAL.

Our family did not do the Kitchen Sink. Instead, we all ordered our own flavored malt or sundae. These large shareable type sundaes tend to get soupy quickly.
