Hi

I have read conflicting reports of the kitchen sink being available with the vouchers....

We have decided not to go to Disney on this trip for budget reasons but I still bought a few vouchers to eat at the resorts with....

So I was really counting on this kitchen sink for a big treat for the kids....I might even put up a stink because on the vouchers no where does it say certain desserts are excluded..

How successful do you think I will be....?????

thanks
Laura

hello

i also have the vouchers, just received 12/19- they expire 5/31 no where on the voucher does it say "excluding the kitchen sink" i fully intend to get this desert- although i have heard that when the new vouchers come in for next year that there may be a clause stating no kitchen sink- but as far as i am concerned, if it doesn't specify a desert choice-then anything goes !

enjoy

When DH and I went in October, the waitress was trying to get us to order it. We ate on one voucher, and turned down the kitchen sink (we knew it would be way too much) and ordered a sundae instead. You will have no problem at all:D

When we were there in August, we were told that the newer vouchers would exclude it. These are not the ones that expire May 31 (we have those too, and used them), but the ones that are printed after that. Wish someone with the newer ones would say if it's so. The manager was the one who told us that. They tried to exclude it during our May visit (and did for one night), but they rescinded it back to allowing it by the next day. He said that other places have excluded items, and they either needed to exclude it, or stop being part of the program, as they never meant for this dessert to be for one voucher.
I guess they wnat to be like the Rainforest, that won't let you get their big dessert unless you use two vouchers.

Personally, I would rather we each get our own dessert..I happen to be one of those who doesn't care for the mess of all the mixture's in the KS..however, you can tell by my sig pic, that my grand loved his!

is this pic of a kitchen sink???? holy cow- what are we in for (lol)

lisa:rolleyes:

That's the KC when served......wait a few minutes and it's a total mess!!!!!!!!!!!!! Everything mixed together and melty. We much perferred the banana split (which we split by 3 and still had leftovers, but weren't sick.)

DD and 3 teenage friends shared a kitchen sink in June...neither of them has had ice cream since! We were allowed to order the KS with 1 of 4 vouchers in June(actually, we ordered 2 kitchen sinks and 2 milkshakes), and my SIL used a voucher in October, and was able to get the KS.

Thanks everyone for your replies..I guess I'm looking good since my vouchers do not say we cannot order the kitchen sink so we will deffinately do so or I will raise a stink about it...

We ordered the KS in Aug and did not come close to making a dent in it (4 of us were working on it)...

Our Kitchen Sink a few minutes after it was delivered!

I wouldn't want to order another one because we couldn't eat even a quarter of it (but it was fun to do once). We went back in November and I had a No Way Jose and couldn't even begin to finish that--the desserts are enormous!

We just ordered the Kitchen Sink using a voucher on Sunday 12/8. It was huge. It is pretty neat what they do while bringing it out. Enjoy.

Does anyone know what the price of the kitchen sink is by istself? I think it might be fun to go there just for that and not with the voucher like as a mid-day snack or something.

Thanks for any information.

Kitchen sink costs $21.99. We were just there on Dec. 22 and the waitress said we'd need two vouchers to get that for dessert. No biggie since we used three vouchers for our mels, but we ended up getting three separate ice cream desserts instead. None of us even halfway finished our desserts...they were too huge.

When we were there a few days ago we used five vouchers. I was full and passed on the dessert. DH and DD#1 got the mud slide thing and DS and DD#2 each ordered a kitchen sink and that was fine with the waitress. I had already gone back to the room and DH was there with them. I would not have let them both order a kitchen sink!

But anyway, at least with the waitress we had we could have ordered FIVE kitchen sinks if we had wanted to!
