I guess this is OT, but I wasn't really sure where to put this, and there seems to be some good advice for other non-Disney trips on the Budget Board, so here it goes...

I'm going to Kings Island next Wednesday, and I'm kind of freaking out about not having any kind of plan. For Disney, I usually have touring plans every day. So does anyone have a "touring plan" for Kings Island? It will be my dad and me, and both of us want to do all the coasters (we're thrill ride junkies lol). We plan on getting there at park opening and probably staying all day.

Thanks in advance! :thumbsup2

Are you planning on getting the fast passes? If its in the budget I'd definitely get them they cost more but are worth it if you are doing a one day trip. We were just there this past Sunday and Monday. Monday was pretty busy about 45 minute wait times for most coasters. When you go into the park go left it takes you to (Action Alley) do those coasters first, then jump to fire hawk and flight of fear, then do vortex and diamondback, the line for beast goes pretty fast longest I've ever had to wait was 15 minutes. A side note the all you can eat BBQ wasn't worth the $ and the food wasnt very good. Also the ride Delirium was closed :(

Weekdays aren't as crowded as weekends as a rule. If you want to buy the Fast Lane pass they are $35-50 a day!!! I would say go to the coasters first thing as soon as they open and hope for the best. We have season passes at KI and it makes us appreciate Disney more everytime we go there. The food is really expensive! Start at Action Alley if you want to do the thrill rides. Most of the other rides shouldn't be that bad. KI is not nearly as big as any of the Disney Parks so just grab a map on your way in.
