Hi all! My family usually gets a standard room with two double or queen sized beds and a crib for ds. Now that ds is 3, he doesn't need a crib. We went to Niagara Falls a couple months ago and booked a king bed with a pull out sofa so ds could sleep between dh and myself and dd (9) could have the sofa bed to herself. It was excellent! dh, ds and I never even felt like we were in bed with others! dd was so comfy. I loved the extra room when the sofa bed was a sofa.

Here is my question. Do the king sized bed rooms at WDW resorts have pull out sofas? Do they allow 4 people in a king room?

We are especially interested in Poly and Swan and Dolphin. Thanks! Sandra

The King rooms in WDW resorts only sleep two. The only way to get a King room at the Poly would be to reserve a suite. I dont know if you could get more in that room than just two you would need to call. I am not sure about the Swan and Dolphin.

I will also state that the king bedded rooms at WDW will only sleep 2 plus one child under 3 in a crib. Also, the Poly doesn't have any king bed rooms, except in the suites.

You might want to consider a 1BR villa at a DVC resort--they are set up with a king and a sleeper sofa. The extra room is heaven, plus there's a kitchen and washer/dryer. All for the same price that you'd pay for a room at the Poly if you rent points from a DVC'er.

Like others have said, the Poly doesn't offer king beds, except in the very expensive suites. However, all rooms have 2 queens and a day bed. Is your son old enough to sleep in the queen with your daughter? That would give you plenty of room.

We stayed at the Beach Club in Jan. and our king room would suit you just right! There was a day bed that would be fine for a 9 year old and then the little one could sleep in the king with you. The Beach Club is a great family resort with Stormalong Bay, the best pool at WDW.

If your budget would stand it, a one bdrm villa would be wonderful! We love the kitchen, the washer and dryer and best of all, the jacuzzi tub!:D :D

Both the Swan and Dolphin have King rooms. Some of them do have the sleeper in them. You would have to request them and make sure you specify you want a room with the sleeper. I know some of the rooms have chairs instead. The rooms are spacious too...I would give reservations a call. You can see a picture of a king room in the FAQ located at the top of this forum.
