I have no idea what room location to request for my trip this week to the POFQ? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Does anyone want to report on the comfort level of the king beds?

I know we were in Bldg 3 (next to the bus stop) and on the third floor. Corner room. Very quiet and comfortable. We were so tired after a full day in the parks that I could have slept on concrete, so I don't remember how comfy the beds were. Most hotel beds seem hard to me anyway. You'll love POFQ

I don't think they offer king size beds, but I could be wrong. We just stayed there and were stuck with two doubles. I asked for King and if I remember right they said all that they have is doubles. The beds really were very uncomfortable.

We stayed at POFQ in May of 1999. We had a King Bed Room with a view of the river. I believe it was room 5126 but I could be wrong. They may have changed since then.

king bed is not a request at the moderates it is a seperate cat. that you have to book.

We just got back from POFQ and stayed in building 5, first floor, 5125. There were only 4 rooms on our side of the building and both ends were kings. They looked nice...we wish we could have had one for more room.

Just got back from POFQ and I wish that my DW and I had a king room instead of a double. We smacked into eachother and played tug of war with the sheets all night! I did not care for the pillows, they were too poof-y and light for my taste. I use a feather/down mix at home.

We were there in April & actually got the location we requested-a king corner room in building 6, facing the river. The room was recently refurbished & everything looked great. I agree with the last post about the pillows, too thin & light for my taste. The bed was very comfortable. I requested building 6 to be closer to POR & 3rd floor for a little less noise.

Thanks for all your replies. I gave up my King for two doubles with a water view, as my friend decided she wanted to go too! I think I will bring my own pillows. I usually do. I think my recent stay at the Dolphin and those "heavenly beds" ruined me.::yes::
