Kindal or Nook on Black Friday?

Does anyone know if there will be special for these on Black friday?

I really haven't heard anything. Amazon doesn't usually run sales so if they did it would be HUGE. My guess is that you'd be much more likely to see the price of their refurbed 2nd generation drop down to $110 again or perhaps another Kindle day on Woot.

Best Buy sometimes runs promotions where you buy the nook and get a Barnes and Noble gift certificate so keep an eye out there too.

There have been no deals on them on past Black Fridays and considering they just brought out the new Kindle with Wi-fi for $139 I would consider it highly unlikely. You will probably see Black Friday adds being posted after halloween on the Black Friday site.

When did they have kindal on WOOT? I look there everyday and I must have missed that one! How much was it? Wonder if they sold out if not they might have it on their WOOT off?

Woot had the Kindle on July 1st, the day after it was announced that Amazon had bought Woot. It cost $150 and they sold nearly 5000 by around 9am.

The Kindle 2 recently reappeared as a refurb thru the Amazon warehouse but the price is $159 which to me is too high for an out of date model. I'd recommend you get the new WiFi Kindle 3 for $139 before that.

Not everyone has access to WiFi and some don't have access to 3G. I had to get the 3G model because that is all that is available around me.

no that's a good point but in that case I'd say cough up the additional $30 and get a brand new Kindle 3 WiFi + 3G for $189. I just think those refurb K2s are way overpriced when you look at the price of the new model.

Refurbs should be a deal and that really isn't much of a discount.
