Kinda stupid question about Magical Express

Half of my family is flying down into Orlando airport, and my youngest and I are taking the train -Mainly because she pretty much begged to take the train. We were all talking about planning and she is so disapponted we won't be taking Magical Express. So here is my stupid question. I had planned on taking a taxi to the resort, but is there a way to take the taxi to the airport instead and then get on Magical Express? I know its pretty stupid to do that but we'd pretty much be getting there when the rest of my family gets there anyway.

Yes you can.

But it could also be a conversation about choices. The choice to take the train means you aren't at the airport, which means it's a taxi, rental car, or towncar. Not sure how old she is or if such a conversation is one you want to have. I assume you are coming into kissimee amtrak and I don't know how annoying a taxi ride to the airport, then onto DME would be.

Yes, you certainly can, as long as you are staying @ a Disney hotel and want to use DME between (inclusive) the day you check in and the day you check out (although it's backtracking a bit if you were getting off the train @ Kissimmee). MCO is about 20 miles from the Kissimmee station and about 10 from the Orlando station, so plan accordingly for taxi fare.

Call DME and tell them the date/time you want a ride from MCO (the time doesn't really matter, within a few hours is fine). They should be able to make the reservation for you and give you a confirmation number/mail tickets.
